An Unexpected Journey Returns to Magic: The Gathering

Magic: The Gathering is heading back to Middle Earth with the upcoming Universes Beyond: The Hobbit expansion. Following the enormous success of The Lord of the Rings, Wizards of the Coast is bringing Bilbo Baggins’ legendary adventure to life with brand new cards inspired by The Hobbit. Players can expect iconic characters such as Bilbo, Thorin Oakenshield, Gandalf and Smaug, alongside memorable locations including Bag End, Mirkwood and the Lonely Mountain.

Scheduled for release in August, the set promises new collectible cards, exciting gameplay and breathtaking artwork that captures one of fantasy’s greatest adventures.
